He’s totally fine with it b/c he was already accepted early to UC Berkeley for Mechanical Engineering, and after applying to Swarthmore he decided he didn’t want to go cross country (we’re in NorCal) to such a small school with a comparatively tiny engineering department. But what a gorgeous campus and special place - good luck to all the applicants!
