<p>So for my UVa supplement I have to write about literature that challenged me, so I’m talking about The Sound and the Fury. Its author William Faulkner described it as “a real son-of-a-b*tch”. I want to include this quote, but I’m not sure if it’s too risky since it contains a curse word. Any thoughts?</p>

<p>If this is a clear quote from Faulkner then it is fine. Just don’t use any gratuitous swearing.</p>
