This list is a good starting point, just know that the non-Ivies and non-NESCACs on this list may have different timelines, policies, and processes than we have been talking about on this thread. For example, JHU, CMU, Chicago, Swat don’t have the pre-read timing rules of Ivy/NESCACs. CMU and Chicago coaches tend to not carry as much weight in the admissions decision as Ivy/NESCAC, but do send some LLs to athletes (but not to all AFAIK).
Just make sure your D is asking questions about the process, and ultimately where she stands in the process.
If she does receive an ‘offer’, she needs to understand exactly what is being offered, she wants to hear ‘full support through the admissions process’.
Once she knows the level of support being offered, she should ask ‘what proportion of past recruits who have received this same level of support were accepted’.
The idea is to have as full information as possible before making a verbal commitment, knowing one will never have complete information. There is always risk, as coaches can not make admission offers.
