Swine Flu in Mexico

I hope parents and student everywhere are aware that a person can be infected with the flu virus and shed the virus (infecting others) for several days prior to showing symptoms. It remains to be seen how virulent this new virus is (and it may quickly evolve into “hot” and “mild” versions, so what happens in one part of the country may different than another.)

for pandemic flu,
Here are two excellent web sites for more information.

Finally,
Here is a site that discusses herbal remedies (for bird flu but I suspect the stuff overlaps with H1N1).

[H5N1 Avian Flu Virus Therapy: Conventional and Herbal Options](http://www.med-owl.com/health/H5N1-Virus-Therapy.html)

Please take flu seriously. It can be deadly. Most of the time we get a little tummy bug and say we had the “flu” but real influenza can make a person ill for two weeks or more.
