I was originally a Computer Science major but I was convinced by one of my ex-friends in becoming a Computer Information Systems major. I regret this decision so now I’m wondering how I should go about getting back on track. It’s my first semester as a Sophomore and if I switch back now that would mean taking Cal 1 next semester. I would then have to take Cal 2 the following year. I had taken Applied Mathematics last semester and I’m not sure if that counts as a prerequisite to Cal 1. What should I do? I have no issues at all with Computer Science itself, it’s the math that’s really bothering me, coming in I was very intimidated.
Why don’t you speak to an academic advisor at your school and get the real scoop as to the sequence of courses required?
