How difficult would it be to switch from Environmental Science in Rausser College of Natural Sciences to Environmental Engineering in the College of Engineering?
I know it’s hard to switch into CoE, but my interests recently changed and I’d truly like to pursue this.
There is a process to petition to transfer to the College of Engineering, but they are pretty clear that such a petition is unlikely to be successful. You can give it a shot, but definitely have a back-up plan because it’s a long shot.
Agree with the poster above. The link above also says Environmental Engineering was not open for petitions for 2025-2026 year. So no guarantees that it is possible.
