Switching from pre-bus econ to Materials Engineering?

Hey so I’m coming in as a pre-bus econ major but I was wondering about the feasibility of switching from this to a Materials Engineering major?</p>

<p>I already took Math 32A,B, and Math 33A in high school but I plan on retaking 32A,B and not 33A (it was hard lol…).</p>

<p>How likely is it that I’ll be able to switch? I know the math is required for the pre-major for materials engineering so that’s why I put that there. I’m not sure if that has anything to do with anything actually…but yeah haha.</p>

<p>It is very doable. Just keep taking all the math and the physics 1 series and keep applying each quarter. If you can get mostly A’s and B’s, you’re guaranteed the switch.</p>

<p>Doesn’t matter if you’re a transfer or not. In HSSEAS, there is no maximum number of credits you can take. The real problem if you’re a transfer is if you can afford staying extra quarters.</p>
