switching from SAT to ACT??

so… I have been studying SAT for a long time and already took twice but only got 1)R 590 W 560 M 780 T 1930 2)R 540 W 710 M 760 T 2010
without any preparation and randomly guessing exactly 20 science questions
i got 27 composite score and surprisingly 85th percentile even for science

i feel that the ACT is better test for me but I feel I just have spent too much time on SAT (+on recent practice tests im consistently getting 2200s)

Also, even if I switch to ACT and do well, SAT score still shows up for the schools requiring SAT IIs which I did pretty well.

How would you convert 27 ACT (90th percentile) to SAT score approximately?
and any suggestion which test I should focus on?

27 ACT converts to about 1820-1830 SAT. There’s lots of conversion charts floating around; here’s one: <a href=“Digital SAT Prep | Improve your Digital SAT Score | The Princeton Review”>Digital SAT Prep | Improve your Digital SAT Score | The Princeton Review;
