<p>At UCSD, you are allowed to apply to switch into an impacted major if you have a 3.5. What are the chances of success?</p>
<p>from what i’ve heard from offical UCSD people/resources (admissions people/website), switching into impacted majors is impossible</p>
<p>however the two UCSD students that i talked to both said it was possible, especially if you had a high gpa</p>
<p>i thought you had to stay IN. i didnt think you were restricted from entering. i have never heard anything about getting in, though. sorry for not helping.</p>
