<p>My son completed Phase 1 of his treatment several years ago. It’s now time to begin Phase 2, according to his dentist. There is an orthodontist steps away from DS’s HS, which would be very convenient since my son is 14 and doesn’t drive. Just wondering if changing orthos between treatment phases is ok, or if there might be any negatives to consider? I’m assuming if the new ortho had any issues with “taking” another ortho’s patient, the office person would let me know if it’s not a good option. </p>
<p>Due to moves, we changed orthodontists three times during my daughter’s treatment. It was fine. </p>
