Looking for anyone who knows this is a possibility – I committed to school A and am currently there. After a week of classes and one day left in the add/drop period, I am trying to switch to UMASS Amherst, where I was also accepted but I initially denied my acceptance. Their classes begin tomorrow so there’s still a week of add/drop. Has anyone done this and successfully changed schools last minute? Thanks!!
Are you full pay? Any financial aid you got at UMass will likely not be available.
It can be done if both schools allow it. Be sure you know if you get all or may st if your money back from School A – housing contracts, for example, can still require payment.
I would call UMass now.
