Hey y’all I did not receive any $$$ from Syracuse and really want to go because it is my top school but I won’t be able to afford it without any aid. Do you think I would receive anything if I asked for $$$?

Every school is different, dont lose hope. More than that, don’t take it personal! Its their loss
I’ve heard people had luck appealing after may 1st - people who got scholarships and then didn’t go left a lot of money on the table
That’s crazy they know full well you have to make a decision by 5/1. By then you are stuck as you have given up other opportunities and you may not get more. No one should give up certain for uncertain

Do we know based off last years trend if this wave is gonna be primarily rejections?
I think they’re behind this year, so though there will be a lot of rejections and waitlists today, I think there will be more acceptances for this second wave then in previous years. I’m so worried!

tons of people with high stats didn’t hear anything last week - hopefully a good amount of acceptances as well
