Syracuse, FIU, & DePaul

Soooo I’d say I’m a slightly above average student…I get good grades but it’s because I like to learn and I listen in classes, but I don’t always do well on tests. Freshman year I had a 3.72, sophomore a 3.89, and junior year a 4.05.

My junior year I studied in another country (Spanish speaking) and they were all advanced classes and that’s why my GPA went up. I returned to the US my senior year and I wasn’t able to go to school for a month due to some miscommunication with schools and not being able to set up easily because I transferred in the middle of the year.

I took my SAT and ACT tests after a month of no school and I don’t think they truly reflect my personal intelligence but I can’t retake them now since college deadlines are coming up. I got a 1390 on the SAT and a 23 on the ACT.

I have a high GPA, over 200 hours of service, recommendation letters from the U.S. and the other country, but a low SAT/ACT score. What are my chances of getting into Syracuse and DePaul?

Also, for FIU, you need a minimum of 19 in all of the ACT sections- Reading, english, and math. I got a 25 in reading, 29 in english, but an 18 in math. I was really close to meeting the minimum for math, but do you think I could still get in? (for Fall 2015)

Unfortunately, I already sent in both scores because I panicked and decided to send them right away. Will the colleges seeing my SAT scores affect anything? My ACT scores are slightly better.
