To the people who’ve gotten in- has anyone been accepted to any of the study abroad programs? Like Discover Florence/Madrid/Strasbourg? I haven’t heard back yet but I applied for that program, so I was just wondering if anyone who’s applied to those has gotten in yet?
^^ if you applied to the Maxwell school / CAS, there was an option to apply to the program in the common app so I’m just curious if anyone’s heard back from them yet!!

@Siena19 My son just recieved his packet today (a full week after finding out) and we are 2 hours from Syracuse in upstate NY

hey does anyone know when financial aid info will be available? i was accepted on 3/15 but when i go on myslice it says no financial aid available and i turned in all the forms that were asked for. trying to afford this alleged 70k education lol
@chefboiird our aid (if you can call it that) was listed on myslice. $13K off of $70K makes this school unattainable. So frustrating for these kids who work so hard, get in and then can’t attend because the aid is so much less than the net price calculator said it would be.
@greta2000 jeez 13k is not a lot at all. When did your acceptance come in? maybe i should call the school and ask what the hold up is?
The last thing syracuse sent me was on the 21st, that i was missing a financial thing, which i sent later that day. Does that mean that i might’ve gotten in but theyre just seeing how much money i should get? Also they offered me heop which i did but im still waiting to hear something from

Why does it seem as if many people get taken off the waitlist in April and May, based on previous years, if on my admissions decision it specifically said they would notify me “After June 1st” if I was taken off the waitlist or not? Very confusing wording and frustrating process in general.
If you are waitlisted can you still receive financial aid?
My son was waitlisted too. Which is actually shocking to us. 1470 SAT but a 3.2 gpa. Totally expecting a rejection. He also got accepted to Pratt Brooklyn - photography with scholarship. How did you find out your portfolio rank at Pratt?

Sad to say that we will have to let our spot go - $70k+ is way too much. She had several other acceptances and in the end decided to stay in state at San Diego State (that has a better aerospace program anyway). She just really wanted the out of state experience. It’s too bad that the cost just isn’t affordable for us and was hoping on some merit.
