<p>At the moment I’m a junior hoping to major in predmed in college. But I was just wondering which would be a better choice for my major in predmed in terms of opportunities - Syracuse U or Stony. I heard that @ Syracuse you can have a double major as well as study abroad but then again I’ve also heard good reviews about Stonyb’s med program.</p>
<p>Well what else are you looking for in a school? Both are great schools, but I might say Syracuse because it’s a research school and because of name recognition (not that it’s a major determining factor, but it’s still something to consider). Are you big into athletics? Are you in-state?</p>
<p>I’d say Syracuse, I’ve heard bad things about professor-student relations at Stony Brook. Apparently, the teachers are far more interested in themselves than the students there. Syracuse has a very good name and you can’t go wrong there.</p>
