<p>Are there any potential Syracuse University applicants here? Im applying to NYU, Harvard, UC Berkeley, Barnard and Syracuse in the future to study journalism? Does anyone know how competitive admissions is? Thanks=]</p>
<p>It’s tough to get into Newhouse at Syr. Some of the best broadcast journalists went there. My two favorites are Bob Costas and Sean McDonough. I was waitlisted as a freshman and then denied. I was told I could reapply for transfer as a sophomore but I decided to put the journalism on hold and go to my dream school, Notre Dame.</p>
<p>I’m applying to transfer to Syracuse for journalism too. Spring '07, hopefully.</p>
