I’m so sorry about these rejections, and want to thank everyone for letting others know. Syracuse is a long-shot for my son, and I promise I’ll tell you if he’s rejected, too.
My son was rejected today. He applied ED1 deferred and rejected today. Was expecting this outcome. Happy to move on. Good luck to everyone else!
Yeah I’m truly devastated right now. I would often check this forum for the past week. I wish they could of just rejected me last week. I really do feel like garbage right now. I was even watching videos about syracuse. Good luck to all. Stats 3.7 gpa 1190 sat

Alright I really can’t take it anymore. Can someone please tell me if I have a chance? I got a 1380 on the new SAT (760 Reading Writing and 620 Math), a 32 on the ACT, a 780 on US History SAT and 720 on World History SAT with a 3.88 unweighted GPA and I applied to Maxwell for a History or Political Science/Public Policy major… I don’t really have ANY extracurriculars because my family lives in a rough area and we are in the lowest income bracket, to put it mildly… do you guys think I have a chance? To everyone who got rejected I’m so sorry but I just want to know!
Edit: my grandfather was also an alumnus from 1953, don’t know if that is taken into consideration.

StressingSince99’ I’m so sorry. Don’t feel like garbage. Your stats are strong, and you will (probably already do) have great options. If it’s any help, my daughter didn’t get in to her first choice school last year, and she was crushed. She accepted an offer somewhere else, is now SO happy, and believes it was for the best that she didn’t get in to that other school. So sometimes things do work out…
@AceNtheHole Same situation as yours, just got the email and my son got rejected.

@kettlecorn14 same it was my #1 choice and I’m a little devastated right now guess it wasn’t meant to be this year there’s always a chance to get in next year 
I got Rejected at 6:03pm. Syracuse was my top choice and I am devastated by this news. My heart is with everyone else who got denied. Lets prove them wrong!
