Syracuse University Regular Decision 2021 (& 2022)

Really hoping this doesn’t reflect on the school. I sent an email to admissions a week ago and have not received a reply. Disappointed in the admissions department.

most likely thursday, if not friday @mmorley31

According to what they’ve done, I don’t think they will release decisions on any day besides Friday. Even though they keep saying they’re releasing decisions every weekday. This is so rude

The only place they reply fast is twitter and everything the have put out has been misleading

@bling0202 I think they probably do release decisions everyday, but some days just a few. I wish they would just release things for everybody all at once ugh.

I just emailed one of the admissions officers, I’ll post when I get a response

As an ED applicant I was expecting to hear back in the first wave… wayyy wrong

In keeping with last years pattern, I really think Friday decisions will be wait list.

when did they announce acceptances and rejections then? @Teddy2017

I’ll email the person I interviewed with

So far I see a lot of people with high stats on this forum but they are still waiting. Is this year so competitive? The average sat/act for Syracuse always not very high tho

^ Whose applying to college of arts and science undecided?!

Email sent hopefully I’ll get some clarification

My stats are high, but cuse is still my top because of Newhouse, and since I was rejected from others, this is my number one!

Like honestly if I get wait-listed I’m just committing to Delaware for less money and warmer weather

@Mattm12334 they released accepted to honors 3/10, accepted 3/17, rejections 3/24, so wait list 3/31??? I hope I am wrong.

@Teddy2017 well they said they were releasing more decisions including acceptances this week so the pattern is different

@rawk123 what are you applying to newhouse for?

@crusadermom17 My son got accepted to Newhouse as a Television, Radio, Film major. He has a 3.8 weighted GPA and 1310 SAT. 6 AP Classes over the course of high school and 24 UCONN ECE credits. Played football and lacrosse, some work experience and some community service.

@Kraw44 wow congratulations, that is awesome! My daughter applied to Newhouse for advertising and didn’t get in. Similar stats except 27 ACT which is about a 1290 SAT. A lot of CS and some work experience. Dance, drama club, rec basketball and GS Gold Award. No APs but 4 college classes from schools in NY-17 credits.
