You should be very proud!! Bandier is one of the top programs in the country, they only take 25 so a waitlist is still impressive.

I was waitlisted in Computer Science. Very heart breaking. Dream school right there.
Waitlisted. I’m confused, if the deadline to commit is may 1st, why do we have to wait until June 1st?
My D also just got notification that she was waitlisted to Newhouse! We are excited as it was a bit of a reach for her. But she had a great essay, strong ECs and lots of AP courses. Good luck to everyone
@lm99612 for the waitlist, if you choose to accept the waitlist. You put a down a deposit on another college/university. When schools release their waitlist decisions you can decide to go to that school.
a lotta disappointed to be waitlisted (until June 1? what’s the point?) This especially sucks considering 1) It’s March 30 and 2) syracuse was supposed to be my match-safety. Should I have not applied for FA? This was truly my top choice I just didn’t apply ED as I wasn’t sure how financials would play out. Nothing else to say other than this just really really really sucks. Sorry to anyone else feeling the same

@desnxcx I doubt the financials played a huge role, I applied for FA initially but later emailed them asking to be taken off… Still waitlisted.

@Patagonier Aw, I’m sorry to hear. I genuinely wasn’t sure, heard a couple cases where really qualified people were rejected over others not as qualified when it came down to FA. (Also, not here to say I was said overqualified person lol) In my heart, just wasn’t prepared for this.
