omg I’m hysterically crying and shaking as I write this but after getting a request for more financial aid info I was admitted a few minutes ago to Newhouse for radio, tv, film for fall of 2020 !!! Good luck to everyone !!!

Just got accepted off of the waitlist for Newhouse with a $15k merit award! Broadcast and Digital Journalism major. Unless they come through with a significant amount of need based aid, though, I’ll be giving my spot up. Hope one of you all gets it.

I just got into Cuse after being on the waitlist! I unfortunately already put in my deposit to another school…I would commit to Cuse right now but the link to view my financial aid says nothing is available. Is this happening to someone else?

I thought we had an extra ten days? On the letter I received it says we have ten more days after the date that the letter was sent.
My daughter was waitlisted for architecture at Syracuse but was invited today with a 10k portfolio scholarship and a 10k school grant. She was admitted to UVA, University of Florida, and University of Miami. Miami awarded a full scholarship 300k for the 5 year B.Arch. so she will be a Cane. She rejected the Syracuse offer so hopefully someone else can go. We never understood her waitlist as she had a 1490 SAT 15 AP courses 5.1 wgpa 3.95 GPA and her AP courses include AB
and BC calc Physics and 2 Ap studio art courses.

I don’t know anyone waitlisted to bandier but lots of Newhouse kids have heard back! I got into film and tv but I heard waitlist offers are trickling in from now till end of June ! My guess is that there will be lots of waitlist offers tomorrow because today was commitment day !
@lovey8888 I sure hope more are on the way soon, I’ve been waiting since Early Decision and am beyond stressed out. Congrats on getting in yourself though.

Hey guys, I got waitlisted for Film and TV and I’m really not feeling hopeful that I’m going to get in. Is there anything I could possibly do that could get me off the waitlist that could possibly help me? I’m dying to get into this school and I’m just getting anxious by the day. Thank you
