I think it would be more fun to watch a “So You Think You Can Choreograph” and draw upon the awesome dance talent of SYTYCD alumni. Sort of like Project Runway. After awhile, the models are boring and you find yourself more interested in the designers. Well, I’m there with dance. After awhile, they blur together in all their amazingness and I’m more interested in the choreographers.

Thoughts?

I really like that idea! Some of the alums have been very successful choreographing, and we could see more styles. Travis, Pasha come to mind.
Maybe try to do a combination, where the choreographers could be in a separate competition at the same time. Kinda like the model winning a spread in Marie Claire, the choreographer could win a job choreographing for something like the next summer dance movie or some kind of special.

Travis has a new show, All the Right Moves, which is “a reality docu-series premiering with an eight-episode arc this summer. The show follows Travis, Nick, Kyle and Teddy as they launch the company and live together in Hollywood.” [Shaping Sound, Making Moves | DanceMedia, LLC](http://www.dancespirit.com/2012/04/shaping-sound-making-moves/)

Allison from SYTYCD Season 2 appears on the show too.

Does anyone remember the name of the dancers that were on a few years ago. The younger one made the show first, but his older brother was a great Broadway/jazz choreographer. He was balding and often wore a hat. I can’t remember his name, but wanted to search Youtube for him.

He is someone that I would love to see as a guest choreographer.

I’m not into all the dancing/singing contest shows (but W is) but nevertheless I think you have a good idea. It’s time to go to Hollywood and pitch it!

The brothers are Ryan and Evan Kasprzak… Evan is in Newsies on Broadway now… along with Alex Wong, Jesse LeProtto and Thayne Jasperson

Well, glad I’m not alone in this but in the end I really find the choreographer’s craft the most fascinating and would just love to get up close on the craft. I like fashion a bit but never followed super models but find Project Runway truly compelling. I like to learn about the craft and practice of people in the creative professions. Performers are also fascinating . . . to a point.

I think that’s why Mad Men is so interesting. The creative process.

Thank you thatsmyboy!!!So talented, both of them.
