T-shirt quality

My son’s t-shirts are not holding up to suit him. Specifically the necks stretch out and will not retain their umph and flatness. He has t-shirts in various brands, and he has been happiest with Old Navy t-shirts, but not totally. Does anyone recommend another brand? He wears plain white or black most of the time. Thanks.

For plain t-shirts in solid colors, the Hanes Beefy T. Very good durability and comes in many different colors. Also seems to work well with iron-on transfers.

Ha…Beefy T … wow sounds like something that might stroke those male egos…

Lucky Brand, Quicksilver. They are not plain.

I don’t put my H and daughters’ nice t-shirts in the dryer.

JCrew- a little pricey, but nice.

We have found that Old Navy is okay in how it stands up, but we find their shirts to be on the short side in terms of length. We buy a variety of brands and although some may stand up a bit better than others, I don’t find huge differences. I try to buy name brand t-shirts without spending a fortune. I don’t know how the 5 for $20 tshirts would stand up. I know the material on some of those are rather rough to the touch.
