TA "class" on applications?

My D has an empty period on her schedule this year. Therefore, her favorite teacher offered her to be a TA in her class this period, which DD gladly accepted.

She started her applications, and so far it hadn’t occur to her to include her teacher’s assistanship as a “class” in her “senior year coursework”. She listed only her 5 regular classes at h/s and one in cc. But then we got her 6-weeks “progress report” from school with an “A” for TA “class” … so, now we wonder whether it’s considered as a"class" and should be included in applications. The problem is, some apps are already submitted (without mentioning of TAship) and all the commonapp counselor’s forms are given to the school counselor.

What should she do? (AFAIK, she e-mailed those colleges where she already submitted with the question and waits for the answer. Should she rewrite her other forms?)

She should definitely mention this, as this is an important responsibility. She can send updates to the colleges she has already sent forms to, mentioning that she didn’t report this earlier because she wasn’t sure how the high school would report it.

Good luck.
