TA Second Semester Senior Year?

Right now as a senior, I am taking AP Lit, AP Comp Sci A, and AP Econ (1st semester)/AP US GOV (2nd semester). During my second semester, I plan on taking multivariable calculus (and possibly differential equations as well) at a community college. My second semester, I will have an open slot. I was considering being a TA for that period. Given that it’s second semester, how would colleges likely view being a TA over choosing to do a semester course (like intro psychology)?

I don’t think it will matter at all if you TA or take intro to psychology.

However, if you want to be absolutely certain check with your guidance counselor. The top tier colleges will want to see the guidance counselor check the box on the recommendation saying you have taken the most rigorous course-load available at your HS (which doesn’t mean taking every AP class – there is often some latitude in this). If the guidance counselor says that both of your choices (intro to psych and TA) are sufficient to get that most rigorous box checked then you are fine.
