<p>I understand that just about all of the recruiting is done off of Jr year times, but my question is does ANY school leave a spot open for someone who may have a break out Sr year?</p>
<p>This is certainly possible. At my D’s top Div. 1 school, one girl was added to the list of recruits well after the official signing day had passed and also after the school had issued their press release listing the members of their incoming class. My guess is that she had applied RD and was already admitted, but who knows?</p>
<p>Different sport for my sons coach but he always says he won’t turn away a star athlete just because he did not find them when they were younger… A coach would be nuts to not look at an athlete who would help their team… May not get any $$ though.</p>
