My S will probably be in the top 10% of applicants at one of his favorite schools. The school has a few amazing scholarships with money and research opportunities that all applicants are automatically eligible for. Would it be tacky to ask for consideration for one of these in the add’l info space? I’m thinking that some of the applicants with his stats will be applying as a safety. Would it be helpful to tell them it’s one of his top choices and he’d love to attend and be grateful for one of these opportunities?
