TAG application & an F

Ultimately, for many of the places you apply, you will be missing some pre-reqs that aren’t offered. Do not let it deter you if that is your plan. Cite the logistics of your CCC. You may be able to take one online. Have you checked into that?

Re: cog sci I don’t think one CCC in Cali offers a cog sci class, so that part is OK, although you may have a boatload of other missing classes.

You really might be best served to apply to psych and once admitted, try to add on from there. That is probably the path I would take. You know you like psych, so that’s half the battle.

From what I’ve heard about UCLA, once you’re in a major there is a lot of wiggle room within the dept.

I would be missing a million from cog sci. Hmm. I’m gonna apply as Psych BA and hopefully the one I choose (out of the ones that choose me  ) will work with me and my goals.

Do you think it’s better to TAG to Davis or UCSB knowing that so have all the prep/IGETC done?

If all pre-reqs are done I might say UCSB as they seem to have some killer psych possibilities. But having said that UCD might have just as much to offer. They’re very very different schools. UCSB has that Uber-party vibe with everyone wedged into Isla Vista. Davis is more of a laid back college town. You should probably try to visit both and choose the one you feel most comfortable with.

Do you have math requirement completed by Fall? UCSB requires that with TAG. No ifs, ands, or buts…

But both are great schools. You won’t go wrong with either as options.
