Hey so Ive been doing my research on the TAG program and I am wondering how long it usually takes? I cant seem to find how long it usually takes to complete the required material… Could it be done in 2 semesters?
It varies on the person and major but the standard for non-engineering majors seems to be four semesters at 15+ units per semester. Engineering takes longer (on average 5-6 semesters) at a higher workload.
There is also the occasional one year transfer, like myself, but generally it’s not recommended unless you have at least around 20-30 units of prior credit from other transferable sources and are applying into a major with less prerequisites.
If you are talking solely about the 30 units needed in order to apply, usually one year at 15 per semester as @sdgoldenbear said. Two years for the entire enchilada.
