A year ago, we waited with baited breath for an invitation from the TSAO school(s) that could change the life of our DS. I remember opening the email, and seeing the video(s), and driving down the highway bawling my eyes out. The…best…feeling…ever. That song has now become my favorite song, and never fails to bring a smile to my face, as I remember that day like it was yesterday.
We didn’t know what to expect a year ago, him being the first person ever in our family, that we know of, to attend prep school. It has exceeded our wildest expectations. Academically,socially, and athletically he is thriving, but he has definitely learned a thing or two about time management. He is healthy and confident, and has grown as a person, and at times I hardly recognize the boy that left last September. In 5 months, he has made great friends and experienced so many new things. I can only imagine him 3 years from now, ready to take on the world.
To those of you waiting for acceptance letters or emails, we wish you the best of luck. It is all worth it.
