Take a Look: Is this acceptable with UC personal statements?

<p>I am applying to many UCs and my target school is Berkeley-HAAS.
Would it be acceptable to mention Cal specifically in my personal statements even though the essay will be sent to other UCs? Would other UCs be offended? Would HAAS even care? Depending on your answers, I could change the wording from “Cal” to “the University of California” which I do throughout my other personal statement.</p>

<p>Here is how I incorporated this:</p>

<p>“I want to join Cal’s prestigious list of alumni of business innovators like Steve Wozniak by blazing my own new trail merging business concepts with environmentally forward practices.”</p>

<p>“With a degree from Cal, I know that I will also be among the leaders in this innovative business future.”</p>
