<p>Starting in March 2009 when you can choose which SAT scores to send, I think people will start taking these tests a lot more knowing if they do bad, it won’t show on their application unless colleges really require them to give all their scores on applications. I think it can be really advantageous, but eventually scores will get really high in admissions because kids will take the SAT like 4-5 times a year and use their 750 CR way back from 10th grade and combine it with their 800 M in 12th grade, so it’s only going to make it more competitive. </p>
<p>Nothing else to do on a Saturday morning than try your luck on a SAT Subject Test and see if you get lucky to make your application look stronger. I think tests in 9th grade can be great practice. In the end, ACT and Collegeboard will make a lot of money because people will be assured, but then will it be counter balanced if colleges add options to the applications saying you will be in huge trouble if you don’t label all your scores?</p>
