Take both SAT and ACT, what would happen?

<p>Well,I am planning to take both SAT and ACT. And If I prefer ACT, do I still need to send my SAT and SATII score to them? Does ACT equals to SAT1+ SAT2? Thanks!</p>

<p>At some schools, they want ACT + Writing or SATI + SATII. Other schools want ACT + SATII. Check with the ones you are applying to.</p>

<p>When I applied to Harvard, they said they wanted either my ACT or my SAT, and I definitely wanted to send my ACT (which was MUCH better than the SAT). However, they required the SAT II tests - meaning they saw my SAT I scores as well.</p>

<p>Think about these things, because now I wish I never would have taken the SAT XD.</p>

<p>But yes, ACT+writing = SATI + SATII</p>
