take less than 13 units: how to petition this? what's fin aid change?

<p>Hello,</p>

<p>I have 15 units. Dropping anything would cause me to be less than 13. How can I petition to take less? </p>

<p>If the petition doesn’t work, what happens to fin. aid? </p>

<p>The decal classes do not fit my schedule.</p>

<p>Any one or two units that are still open? </p>

<p>PS 179 is one unit Wednesday from 4-5. You might also check the Frosh/Soph seminars (assuming those are an option).</p>

<p>You still have time to find a class, doubt they’ll approve your request. If nothing works, find a fieldwork (e.g. tutoring). You can work that around your schedule.</p>

<p>PS one looks good, but a class I need for my major is at that time. Why are so many classes tu/th :(</p>

<p>Perhaps a self-paced course like CS 61AS (or one of the CS 9 courses if you have already taken CS 61A) can give you the needed units without scheduling conflicts?</p>

<p>CS 10 can be taken MW(F) for a non-major’s introduction to CS.</p>

Or just find some random class, or another Decal that you may be interested in. If you are in CS/EECS, Lab assisting for 61ABC will give you 2 units, and unlike Reader/GSI positions, they are hiring NOW.</p>
