I have a 35, but (32 English, however) I would really like the 36 or a better English score. Not because I think that would give me an edge in college admissions, but for personal pride and such.
However, I haven’t done any testing-related things since June, as I had thought myself completely done, so I had removed myself from the testing mindset quite a while ago. I’m just not sure how much I want to spend prepping to “get back in the game,” although I did very minimal preparation for when I got the 35.
I’m not sure if I want to put in that effort.

So all of you guys who have had a 35 and retook, were you able to get that elusive 36?

I can understand where you are coming from. Everyone wants to do as well as he can, if for no other reason than to see how “smart” he is. But since you say that you only pulled a 32 on the English test, I would have to imagine that some study would be needed to ace it (which might not be a bad idea anyway considering that college is all about writing). Also, as I’m sure you’ve heard, the October science test was extremely difficult for most people, even for those who’ve achieved a score like yours – there was just so much information shoved in one’s face that the time limit was insufficient.

Just a question: How would you feel if you were to score lower than a 35…say a 33?

I think you have better things to do with your time.
