Taking a year off science in highschool

I am currently a junior in highschool and as I have met the science requirements for my school (lab based science as a freshman and pre AP biology as a sophomore) I decided to take a year off of science. It made sense with my schedule at the time because I am considering being an accountant and chose to take an accounting course in the place of physics this year and next year (senior year) I would be taking either physics or chemistry to meet the algebra-based science requirement of most 4 year universities. My question is was this a mistake on my part to take a year off of science since when I apply to colleges they will be looking up to my junior year and I will not have a grade for them to see how well I am doing in a physics or chemistry course? Will this be a matter of not getting in to a competitive university?
