<p>I was wondering if anyone had any advice after already taking the ACT. Stuff like things that would have helped you, stuff that you wished you would have done after taking the test, etc. Any info will help. I am going for a score around a 31. Thanks in advance.</p>

<p>Definitely prep for it. It’s not loaded with tricks like the SAT. It’s much more about the fundamentals, but the timing is tough. You need to build up stamina and work on timing so that you can finish each section (or at least, not leave a ton blank). Practice is the key. Get the official book and also Cracking the ACT, and you’ll have plenty of practice. The Cracking book also had good advice on pacing yourself.</p>
<p>good luck!!! the best lesson i’ve learned is just work as fast as you can. think of it as a basketball game, try to score as many points as you can get while using 100% of your attention</p>
