Is it easier to be in Cornell CAS and take AEM business classes or be in Upenn CAS and take Wharton business classes? Basically I am asking in which university is it easier to take classes in a different college.

If you can’t compare to Upenn, could you just tell me if its relatively easy to take AEM classes as a CAS student?

Its pretty easy to take AEM classes. Many people do it at some point or another.

If you want to learn business though, don’t limit yourself to AEM. Engineering, Hotel, and JGSM offer business classes for undergraduates to name a few.

I’m interested in this as well. I’m in CAS and want to study undergraduate business (management, hotel, etc.). How easily can I take these classes across colleges?

I’m in CAS and currently taking an introductory AEM course…also planning to take courses in ILR and maybe Hotel. It doesn’t seem to be too difficult, although priority will be given to the college or major’s own students. I know for at least the Hotel school, there are some courses that are only open to Hotel students, and some courses specifically for non-Hotel students.

But in general, it isn’t something I’d worry about. You’re encouraged to take courses across colleges.
