Taking an extra AP Exam?

<p>I am a Junior in regulars English this year, but I have been in pre-ap the last 2 years. I was considering taking the AP Lit and Comp exam, even though I am not in the class, because I want to be sure I can make AP Scholar(I got a 4 last yr on apworld, and I am in 2 Ap classes this year, but I feel shaky about them). </p>

<p>How would selective colleges feel about me taking this extra AP exam, and how would they view it if I did poorly versus not taking it at all?</p>

<p>Take it. You don’t have to send in a exam score to colleges if it’s bad, and if you want to become AP Scholar, it’s a good way to achieve that. Self-study though, if you really want to earn a 5–Comp Sci is not difficult if you study and practice some. (Self experience)</p>
