It might be hard for you next year as it is a major transition to go from two honors classes to 4-5 APs, can you realistically handle the work load?

Yes I most definitely can handle the work load. The only reason I’m in 2 honors classes is because I’m not able to skip over honors. I had to “climb” my way up from regents to honors to AP.

I’m not even struggling this year. I need better classes and a more rigorous schedule.

I’ve been taking AP classes since Sophomore year, and five APs as a senior still seems like a bit too much - I wouldn’t load up on APs, especially during your senior year. Take 2 or so, 3 at the most. APs are a lot more work than you may think, and senior year is hectic enough.

The admission people will see that you just try to push it at the last moment anyway…take two or three APs and leave the rest for some diverse courses, like consider showing some leadership skill, joint ASB for example.
