What is your personal opinion if I was to take a CC class, and then go and take an AP exam? I would of course get a prep book to make sure I have learned all the material, but would you think I could get 4’s and 5’s, after taking classes at the CC?

Really depends on the class. For example, Chem 65 at most colleges is only equivalent to High School Chem. The AP Chem test is MUCH HARDER.

It does depend on the class. Calculus for example has much more theory in college than it does in an AP class. If you really study though it shouldn’t be too much of a problem.

College classes might also not correspond with the exact syllabus of the AP test. I know that my community college divides American or European history into multiple sections, based on the time period (for instance 1400s-1850, and 1850 - present, or something similar). APUSH would cover that whole time frame.

Taking CC classes should help you significantly with your AP test though, just make sure to not entirely rely on just the class.
