<p>Would taking a class (and doing well) during summer sessions at UCLA have an impact when applying? I had a horrible gpa my first 2 years at cc (2.1) and have been making it up this past year with consistent 4.0’s after a 5 year hiatus. I should be around a 3.0 when I apply.</p>
<p>I’m about to finish an upper division history class this week and expect to get an A+, loved the professor, and planning to write about it in my personal statement. Also, I’m going to do TAP as either History or Anthropology as a major. Just worried about my past/low gpa.</p>
