I’m planning to Principles of Economics at a community college this summer because I want to major in accounting. I wanted to take accounting but the term didn’t match with my summer vacation, so… (I’m a junior)
I have three questions about this:
- I’ll take AP Macro/Microeconomics in my senior year. Would doing both AP and college credit course be okay? It’s kind of repeating, so I wonder if the AP econ would be necessary?
- Does taking college credit courses in high school make my transcript look much better?
- I’m an international student, so I’m concerned about the visa. Do I need a F-1 student visa? I’ll stay in the US for only about 6 or 7 weeks… Can I just enter the US and take courses with the tourist visa?
