Is it easier to be in Cornell CAS and take AEM business classes or be in Upenn CAS and take Wharton business classes? Basically I am asking in which university is it easier to take classes in a different college.

If you can’t compare to Cornell, could you just tell me if its relatively easy to take Wharton business classes as a CAS student?

Thanks a lot!

Also, could you minor in Wharton?

there are no minors in wharton except statistics

wharton classes are easy if you read, do hw and prepare well for the exams. material is straightforward.

Sorry I don’t think I was clear. By easiness I mean the probability being allowed to enroll in classes in other colleges of the university.

100% probability if it’s not full

depends on the course. There’s no restrictions but priority is given to Wharton students. Some classes will fill up quite quickly (e.g. Finance 100) so depends on what you want to study.

Btw, wharton classes are not easy. Core classes are straightforward yes but have insane curves. Upper level courses have more moderate curves but can have averages of ~40%

Well it’s CERTAINLY a lot easier to get from one part of Penn’s campus to the other. the SAS and Wharton buildings are right next to each other, and in some cases intermingled.

I’ve had no problems registering for/taking Wharton classes. You can’t take management 100 though.

There are several joint wharton/college minors: actuarial mathematics, american public policy, bbb/healthcare management, consumer psychology, legal studies and history, urban real estate and development, and sustainability/environmental management.
