Taking courses at penn state - different colleges and subject

<p>I’ve just been accepted into Smeal for fall 2012 (planning for marketing or even logistics)and i was wondering whether i could take courses or even minors at other colleges as well?</p>

<p>I’m a foodie and I really want to go into something along the lines of food management that requires me to take courses in food preparations safety etc… But not to the extent of becoming a food scientist. I noticed that the college of agricultural sciences offers short courses in food prep to ice cream making!!!</p>

<p>A)I was wondering if I could take these and when? and will they earn me a certificate or degree or???</p>

<p>BI’m also interested in hospitality and M, but they dont offer that at U.Park, is there any way i can still take Hospitaly and M classes??</p>

<p>You can take courses/double major/minor in any college. The short courses are only offered once a semester I think… Check the course schedule.</p>
