How easy is it to enroll in classes in ILR and CALS if you’re an engineering major? Is there any way to check if a course is major only?

Can’t answer your question accurately, but am passing along this link so that you can see that Engineers are welcome in business courses.

I would imagine u could easily with the idea of a broad interdisciplinary study that a lot of people like about cornell — idk about engineering but for like cornell AAP they have like out of dept. and out of college electives options in the curriculum for art and architecture majors — im sure its the same way with CoE (probably is but im not sure cause im just a high school student that is assuming from i know)

If you can fit it into your schedule, it’s pretty easy but fitting it into your schedule can be difficult sometime, particularly as a freshman unless you can place out of some of the intro classes. It also sometimes depends on the department. Some departments are stricter with who they let take their classes, but if you talk to the professor, they can usually give you the enrollment code to take the class.

In the course descriptions, it will say limited to (architecutre, hotel… etc.) students or permission of instructor if only the students in the department can take it.
