Taking FOS2001 Man's Food and FOS3042 Intro to food science at the same time?

Is it weird to take FOS2001 (3 credits) Man’s Food and FOS3042 (3 credits) Intro to food science at the same time?

I am an incoming freshman at UF and these two classes would be for my general education: biological science credits. I’ve read online on websites like courserank.com that they are pretty easy. I think FOS2001 is completely online. I’m confused because it seems like the courses are very similar, but I’m not sure about that.

I am also taking
STA2023 Intro to statistics 1 (3 credits)
MAC2234 Business Calculus 2 (3 credits)
DAA1000 Fundamentals of Dance Technique (3 credits)

Is my schedule okay? Is it easy average, or hard for a first semester freshman?

Also I already have most of my other gen ed classes. I am an accounting major and I already have the first 3 critical tracking courses from AP classes (Micro econ, Macro econ and calc 1).

I think your schedule looks totally fine. I’m taking FOS2001, and I’ll probably take FOS3042 next semester to fill in my Bio Gen Ed requirements. I feel like taking them at the same time won’t hurt. If anything, the information you learn will overlap, which could definitely come in handy!

When is your DAA1000 class? I’m taking it too!

Mine is tues/thurs period 6-7 with Garcia-rose

We have similar schedules!

FOS2001 is STUPID easy and I passed with an A in it without watching the lectures and just with the book. Make sure you do the 2-3 assignments and rock out the quizzes!

That’s when mine is too! See you there :)

Haha, small world!

For FOS2001 do you take the tests online or in a classroom?

Man’s food is one of the easiest classes at UF. Your schedule is on the easy side of average for your major.
