Guys, I am applying for fall 2013. My top choices are Ivies, MIT, Stanford etc. I want to major in Computer Science & Engineering. Now I have already 800 in Math II, Physics & Chemistry. I think I can get an 800 in Biology too. So will more than 3 test scores help? Or 3 tests are enough since most colleges ask for a maximum of 3.

Thanks & any more helpful suggestions about admission will be mostly appreciated.

PS : In case of MIT it’s Aerospace engineering actually.

Take as many as you want…if anything it’ll add to your qualifications(unless you screw up)

A fourth 800 will only help your application. However, your having (only) three 800’s will not be what keeps you out, the same way that having four 800’s will not guarantee you admission. However, if you’re willing to spend the time and money, getting a fourth 800 (or just another good score in general) can’t hurt.

I did notice that your 800’s are all in sciences. You could consider taking some history/English/language tests to bolster your breadth of knowledge. Many colleges nowadays (especially science-y schools like MIT) emphasize a thorough understanding of the humanities for science majors, so keep that in mind.
