Taking multiple SAT subject tests

Hi, I’m senior(Asian female) and I took 3 math II tests and 2 physics tests. I’m applying for CS major for UPenn, Johns Hopkins, UChicago, Carnegie Mellon, Cornell, UC Berkely but my only weakness is with the subject tests.

November Junior Year:
Math level 2 - 730

May Junior Year
Math level 2 , physics - 750, 750

June Junior Year
Math level 2, physics - 730, 680 (condition failure)

I’m planning to take one more for each test in October, but would it be worth taking? Because some of the schools like Berkely, Carnegie, and Cornell do not allow score choice, multiple testing might not look good on my profile…

You’ve taken both tests plenty of times. Looking at your tests for Math II, the improvement bracket is not that wide. I think you should focus on the rest of your application now. Good luck!

All of them allow score choice for Subject Tests.

Move on. A 750 is not a “weakness.” If you get rejected, it will not be because of a 750. Even if you don’t send (as you shouldn’t) all your Subject Tests, I hope that there is nowhere else in your application that paints you as the poster child for overcasting, because that can impact you. Good luck.

In your case, retaking the tests won’t benefit you, and may do some harm. At a minimum, it won’t be a good use of your time and other resources.

Agree that you should send the two 750s. Those are excellent scores . As to score choice, be aware that the only colleges left in the world that prohibit score choice are Georgetown, Yale, Carnegie Mellon, the UCs and Barnard. Of those, only Georgetown prohibits it use for subject tests.
