Is it bad if I take math over the summer? Do med schools frown upon that?

In general, it is best to do your pre-reqs during the academic year, but a few taken at your university (preferable to taking at a CC) during the summer isn’t going to be a big deal.

^That. The only reason it’d be frowned upon would be that it may be difficult to absorb all that information in a short time but Colorado College is one of the top schools in the country and uses a 3 1/2-week “block” plan, which is far shorter than most summer school schedules. As a result, unless you do poorly on the MCAT BS and/or PS section, there’s really no reason any school would question how well you learned the material.
