Taking SAT 4 times..

Hi, this is my first time asking a question…

I took SAT 3 times this year. My first score was 1900. Second was 2010. And now the problem begins. For my third test, which was a November one, i studied hard and i could get at least 2100 for the practice tests.
So…i took the test, and i was shocked to see my score. i got 1950…

i heard that some colleges accept Jan Sat scores. So is it okay to take jan Sat??
I’m not confident enough(after experiencing this disaster) to send Jan Sat score without looking at it first… So i’m thinking about Rush reports…

So…my questions would be

 1. Should I take Jan Sat?
 2. If i take Jan Sat, among 4 tests i have taken, can i send only 2010, and whatever i get on Jan Sat?
 3. Michigan U, Newyork U, Boston College, Emory U, Cornell U …anyone knows which accepts Jan Rush score??

please answer me…i’m desperate !!

Do your homework! You are going to have to look up application deadlines and make sure the schools don’t require ALL scores to be reported. If you’ve got a little time, my suggestion would be to take the next ACT test, as you may find it easier.

What is your score if you add together the highest individual scores over the three tests?

We’re not your personal secretaries. Look up this information yourself.

goodluck- just make sure that you study super hard before taking the exam because sats are very expensive, and im sure the pressure is on to do well.

also, contact ur unis, and ask if u can see ur sat score before sending them- in case u find that u dont want to send ur scores.

best wishes- bumble

Let’s see, you took the SAT three times and received 1900, 2010, and 1950. You don’t need to take it again. You are a solid 1950, and you’ve proven to yourself that this is who you are. Nothing wrong with that.

Save your money. Concentrate on your classwork and your college apps. Taking the SAT four times, especially when the previous three are all in the same ballpark, is a complete waste of time and money.

its damaging to take it more than twice, especially if you got over 2000 once
